Meet Our Doctors

Stephen H. Means, O.D.

Dr. Means graduated Cum Laude from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1984 and went on to receive his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston in 1991. While at UH he was a member of both the Gold Key and Beta Sigma Kappa honor societies. He is an Elder of his church & his hobbies include playing Kayak Fishing and music.

Grant P. Means, O.D.

Dr. Grant Means graduated Summa Cum Laude from Sam Houston State University in 2019. He went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from University of Houston College of Optometry in 2024. After finishing his Doctorate in Houston, Dr. Means moved back to his hometown in the Huntsville area, and joined Means & Associates Optometry, where he does routine vision exams, manages ocular disease, co-manages with ocular surgeons, and fits specialty contact lenses. When he is not at the office, Dr. Means is usually spending time with his wife Abby, spending time outdoors, or is playing viola at his church.
